Sanitation Lead PR08 , 3rd shift Team Bryant (Sanitation), Albertville, AL
About the role
This role is responsible for leading a group of hourly Team Members in cleaning and sanitizing all areas the plant in accordance with USDA, HACCP, FDA, and FSQA pre-op regulations policies and protocols. This position is also responsible for filling in for breaks and helping with any necessary paperwork and administrative duties.
Responsibilities
- Train employees on sanitation procedures, chemical processes and safety
- Assemble/unassemble lines and equipment as required for proper cleaning and sanitizing as required
- Willing and able to use high-pressure hose
- Willing and able to use chemical solutions
- Willing and able to climb to scrub high places and bend or squat to scrub low places
- Clean equipment, lines, machines, floors, ceilings, lighting fixtures, fans, take out trash, and other duties as assigned
- Able to use PIT (if needed)
- Able to obtain authorized LOTO (lockout tagout), fall protection, PIT (if needed) training, and confined space training
- Able to be exposed to possible warm or cold temperatures, wet, humid, or dusty conditions
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis
- Stand, sit, walk, climb ladder/stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day
- Able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling
- Able to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures
- Maintain good housekeeping including service areas
- Follow and operate within all Tyson Safety protocols
- Complete all other tasks assigned by management
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of lead experience in a poultry processing or related industry (experience may be combined across employers if it totals to 1 year)
Qualifications
Ability to use PIT (if needed)
