About the role
UST is seeking an experienced Salesforce Product Owner to drive the vision, strategy, and delivery of Salesforce-based products and solutions. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, end users, architects, and delivery teams, ensuring that Salesforce capabilities are leveraged effectively to meet business objectives.
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and communicate the Salesforce product vision, roadmap, and strategic objectives.
- Align Salesforce initiatives with business goals, customer needs, and organizational priorities.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through Salesforce capabilities and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to establish product goals, KPIs, and success metrics.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with business leaders, operations teams, IT teams, architects, and end users to understand business needs and priorities.
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and requirement gathering discussions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for product-related decisions and prioritization.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and drive consensus across multiple business functions.
Backlog & Requirements Management
- Own and maintain the Salesforce product backlog.
- Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Prioritize features, enhancements, technical debt, and defect resolution based on business value.
- Ensure requirements are well-defined and ready for development teams.
Agile Delivery Leadership
- Work closely with Scrum Masters, Architects, Developers, QA teams, and Business Analysts.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and release planning activities.
- Make timely product decisions to remove delivery blockers.
- Review and approve delivered functionality against business expectations.
Salesforce Solution Governance
- Collaborate with Salesforce Architects to ensure solutions align with business objectives and platform best practices.
- Evaluate standard Salesforce functionalities before recommending custom development.
- Support release management, change management, and user adoption activities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational governance and security policies.
Business Value Realization
- Define and monitor product success metrics.
- Analyze product performance, user feedback, and adoption trends.
- Prioritize continuous improvements and innovation opportunities.
- Drive measurable business outcomes through Salesforce investments.
Requirements
- 8+ years of overall IT and business solution experience.
- 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or Salesforce Functional Lead.
- Strong experience delivering Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Health Cloud.
- Proven experience managing product backlogs and working in Agile environments.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including business, architecture, development, and QA teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and business communication skills.
- Healthcare Payer domain experience preferred.

Benefits

Pay
Role Location: California Compensation Range: $64,000–$96,000
