Sales Territory Manager
About the role
Crafco, Inc. is seeking a full-time Sales Territory Manager to cover Nashville, TN and eastern Tennessee. This role involves frequent travel within the territory, visiting customers and generating new business for highway and bridge pavement preservation materials and related equipment. A company vehicle, laptop, and cell phone are provided. The ideal candidate resides in Nashville, TN.
Responsibilities
- Travel frequently within the defined sales territory to visit customers and create new business opportunities.
- Demonstrate equipment and promote pavement preservation products and solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships in the highway and bridge maintenance sectors.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to individuals and groups using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support customer needs and resolve issues.
Requirements
- 4+ years of outside sales experience, with government contract and bid experience a plus.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in pavement or bridge maintenance industry preferred; related fields such as construction, asphalt, concrete, or chemicals also considered.
- Previous experience selling equipment or familiarity with construction equipment sales is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- A current driver's license and a good driving record.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent outside sales experience is required.
