About the role

This position focuses on customer service, teamwork, and maintaining clean, organized store conditions at our Fine Wine & Good Spirits (FW&GS) Store in Imperial.

Responsibilities

• Shift Leadership: Guide clerks and support smooth store functions during assigned shifts.
• Customer Service: Assist shoppers and resolve product concerns in a friendly manner.
• Store Operations: Manage sales transactions, unload shipments, and help stock shelves.
• Training Support: Coach newer clerks and explain store procedures and daily expectations.
• Inventory Tasks: Complete shift reports and contribute to accounting and inventory efforts.
• Safety Practices: Lift products safely and use store equipment such as dollies, carts, and pallet jacks.

Requirements

• Six months of experience as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles); or six months of retail sales work.
• Must meet Pennsylvania residency requirements.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
• Must pass a background investigation; applicants with a felony conviction within the last ten years are not eligible for employment with the PLCB.

Schedule

• Full-time employment, totaling 75 hours biweekly.
• Work hours will vary.
• No telework option available.
• Free, secure, onsite parking provided.

Pay

The starting salary for this position is fixed at the minimum rate for new Commonwealth employees and is not negotiable.
