Sales Support Specialist 1

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- The individual will be responsible for sales account maintenance, providing technical and administrative product information, performing daily clerical and office maintenance tasks, such as typing correspondence, coordinating, data entry, quotations, and process documents.
- Maintain inventory, follow up on Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) with purchasers.
- Act as a liaison between sales, purchasing, production, procurement, and logistics departments.
- Provide assistance for intra-company project coordination between sales and non-sales departments.
- Enter, monitor, and communicate directly with clients regarding the status of their orders, facilitate credit issues, and negotiate returns.
- Develop superior customer service relationships with prospects.
- Produce daily reports for clients.
- Be a backup for the supervisor and team members.
- Additional duties as requested by supervisors.
Qualifications
- AAA degree required, Bachelors degree preferred
- At least 5 years of direct, related sales support experience
- Experience in data entry, scheduling production, and tracking orders
- Possesses strong professional communication skills including: phone, written/E-mail, and presentation
- Experience in customer service and dealing with clients directly, must have problem-solving skills
- Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding assigned jobs
- Must possess strong computer skills with word and excel
- Organizational skills are a must
Benefits
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000. The final salary will depend on various factors including location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees in this role. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, which includes participation in bonus and equity award programs.
