Sales Support Representative

About the role

WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a Sales Support Representative to join our team in Duluth, GA. This role provides support and order information with a focus on professional teamwork while striving to deliver resolutions and excellent customer service.

Primary Responsibilities

• Supports ISRs and customers by providing tracking information, freight charges and PODs.
• Processes freight claims and work with freight companies to ensure resolution.
• SUBMIT CORRECTED BILLS OF LADING TO FREIGHT COMPANIES.
• COMMUNICATES WITH OTHER DEPARTMENTS TO HELP RESOLVE CREDIT AND SHIPPING ISSUES, ETC.
• CREATES CREDIT MEMOS FOR PRICING DISCREPANCY.
• ISSUES RETURN GOODS AUTHORIZATION TO THE CUSTOMER AND WORKS WITH WAREHOUSE PERSONNEL TO ENSURE THAT GOODS ARE ACCEPTABLE FOR RESTOCK AND RETURN IS CLOSED. THIS SHOULD BE DONE IN CLOSE CONSULTATION WITH MORE SENIOR MEMBERS OF THE TEAM TO INSURE ACCURACY.
• RUNS OPEN ORDER REPORT AND OPEN CREDIT REPORT TO ACCURATELY UPDATE THE REPORTS FOR MONTHLY PROJECTIONS.
• PROCESS REBATE ORDERS.
• PROCESS CO-OP DOLLARS (CRDS) IN APRISE.
• ORDERS CATALOGS, BROCHURES AND LITERATURE TO FULFILL CUSTOMER REQUESTS.
• OTHER DUTIES AND TASKS AS ASSIGNED.

Education

- High School diploma and/or GED.

Knowledge / Training

• Functional Microsoft Office skills.
• Data entry.
• Customer Service.
• Familiarity with the product catalog.
• Familiarity with general industry terminology and product naming conventions.
• Phone etiquette for customer interaction.
• Basic knowledge Business Operation System.

Experience

- 1+ year of related experience.
