Sales Support Representative
About the role
The Broker Agent Service Analyst will play a key role in supporting Medicare & Retirement Agent On-Boarding by analyzing and processing new and existing agent requests. You will provide exceptional customer service to all internal staff and external customers. In this role, you will become responsible for some level of complex processing in addition to developing expertise related to processing applications and contracts through to completion.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all contracting credentials and other necessary documents are in good order for processing
- Perform analysis of submitted material for completeness and accuracy, analyzing credentials and documentation for eligibility
- Ensure submitted paperwork is compliant and adheres to all federal and state laws and regulations
- Identify risks or issues and assess / implement alternate solutions through thorough understanding of the process and the related laws/compliance guidelines
- Maintain awareness of day-to-day activity and keep agent and other stakeholders informed of relevant information or lack thereof
- Participate in interdepartmental team efforts, such as implementation of updates to the production system
- Ability to analyze and suggest improvements to our overall process to improve efficiency and stakeholder experience
- Maintain accepted department standards of production and quality
- Learn detailed business process and procedure
- Perform reporting analysis and make recommendations for process improvement
- Perform other related duties as required to achieve the goals and objectives of the company and department
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or High School Diploma/GED with 1+ year of experience in a production or analyst role
- 1+ years of experience in a production or analyst role
- Previous experience using multiple computer programs simultaneously to enter, review, and verify information
- Ability to use MS Outlook for calendar management, meetings, e-mailing, and managing e-mail folders
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Preferred Requirements
- Customer care experience in the healthcare industry
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of insurance industry, compliance, licensing or claims experience
