Sales Support Representative

Location: Phoenix, AZ

About the role

The Sales Support Representative will support the objectives of the Sales Team. The Sales Team sells services that are focused on providing integrated solutions for colocation, enterprise, hyperscale, and government customers. This role will assist in document preparation, proposal management, scope review, and communication with customers on deal-specific items.

Must be a US Citizen.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. Positions requiring driving must have an MVR that meets company and insurance carrier standards.

Responsibilities

• Quote/Proposal Preparation – full life cycle quote management when necessary
• Follow up on parts deliveries (e.g., batteries, caps) from OEM vendors, trade subcontractors, and partners
• Coordinate with CPG Operations and Service Teams on scheduling and shipments
• Submit Purchase Order requests to Accounting
• Coordinate with Vendors to release orders and follow up on ship dates
• Inventory/Logistics Management – track purchased products and communicate with customers regarding their order status
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is entered into NetSuite
• Attend kick-off meetings to assist in smooth handoff of project from bid to execution if necessary
• Identify additional opportunities for CPG to generate revenue
• Utilize NetSuite to track all open and closed opportunities
• Accompany Outside Sales Representative in attending face-to-face meetings with customers
• Deliver reporting for assigned Sales Representatives
• Complete ISXs and Submittals for 3rd party vendors
• Complete training courses assigned by Supervisor

Requirements

• 1-2 years in a customer service, sales, or relationship management role
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Previous data center experience
• Previous experience with Oracle NetSuite

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to sit; standing and walking are required
• Noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate
