About the role
Satair is seeking a Sales Specialist- Used Parts to join our Customer Support Team in Herndon, Virginia. This role supports the sales of used aircraft parts and services to operators, lessors, and repair shops within Satair PTE Ltd's sales.
Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to Satair's quality policy, goals, and procedures, and achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Engage in strategy development and execution, and drive sales campaigns in collaboration with Product Management.
- Coordinate relevant sales tasks between Satair departments, set up and maintain client data records, and assist the Product Marketing Department.
- Develop Satair PTE Ltd's market position in used part management, and report on potential new distributorships to Product Management.
- Manage pricing policy to optimize profits, meet sales budget for own sales area, and provide quarterly reports and forecasts.
- Coordinate and conduct regular account meetings with responsible departments to share information and address customer issues.
Requirements
- Equipped with a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Production or equivalent experience, with 3+ years of assigned territory sales experience.
- Experience within logistics, supply chain, customer service, or aviation industry.
- Technical and process-oriented background with knowledge of used parts ordering, planning, pricing, and provisioning.
- Knowledge of G-suite applications and SAP.
- Shipping knowledge, including INCO terms.
Qualifications
- Excellent understanding of G-suite applications and SAP.
- Ability to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools.
- Physical requirements: vision, hearing, speaking, equipment operation, carrying, lifting, pushing/pulling, sitting, squatting/kneeling, standing, walking, and carrying documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment.
- Required PPE includes safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators/masks, and protective gloves.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of used parts ordering, planning, pricing, and provisioning.
- Ability to work independently and travel up to 5% internationally and domestically.

Pay and Schedule
Salary range based on the required profile: $75,000 - $85,000/year. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on geographic differential. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
