The Sales Specialist supports sales and marketing efforts for a community, focusing on lead generation, closing sales, and achieving move-in goals. Key responsibilities include assessing market position, developing quarterly revenue plans, and building relationships with residents, families, and referral sources.
Responsibilities
- Quickly assesses market position and develops a 30-60-90 action plan for growth
- Mystery shops the market and updates Competitive Analysis
- Serves as a Sales Director until a new associate is in place
- Schedules and conducts Community Experiences with prospective residents and families
- Treats all inquiries and leads with urgency and unique strategies
- Plans and implements Quarterly Revenue Plans, collaborating with Sales and Marketing Team
- Develops and maintains relationships with residents, families, and professional providers
- Challenges and questions management on sales effectiveness and denial of admits
- Trains and prepares for new sales hires' onboarding
- Completes and maintains sales reports and standards
- Executes team training sessions on sales culture and company policies
- Ensures all personnel model the company's core values
- Drives the sales culture within the community
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or equivalent experience
- One to two years of sales experience in the long-term care industry
- Exceptional verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to travel up to 100% of the time during the work week
