About the role
Careerscape is supporting a client opening for an On-site Entry-Level Sales Specialist. This role focuses on engaging with prospective customers, building client relationships, identifying customer needs, presenting products and services, and supporting business growth through exceptional customer interactions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is outgoing, motivated, and interested in building a career in sales, business development, customer success, or account management. The Sales Specialist will work closely with sales managers, marketing teams, and customers to generate leads, maintain customer relationships, process sales activities, and contribute to company revenue growth. Compensation
The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience, communication skills, sales performance, and client hiring needs. Additional compensation and benefits details will be shared during the hiring process.
What you’ll do
- Engage with prospective and existing customers
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Generate and qualify new sales leads
- Follow up on customer inquiries and sales opportunities
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales documentation
- Maintain accurate customer records in CRM systems
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams
- Meet individual and team sales goals
- Track sales activities and prepare performance reports
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
- Perform additional sales and administrative duties as assigned
What we’re looking for
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- An associate's or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or related roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- Customer-focused with a positive attitude
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM software is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment
- Professional, dependable, and goal-oriented mindset
Nice to have
- Internship or entry-level sales experience
- Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRM platforms
- Experience with lead generation or customer outreach
- Basic negotiation and presentation skills
- Interest in business development and account management
