Sales Project Manager - Waterworks

About the role
This office-based Project Manager role in our Waterworks Division provides administrative project support for water and wastewater treatment plants in the region, with occasional on-site client visits. It offers a flexible schedule and improved work-life balance for professionals with construction, waterworks, or commercial plumbing experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of a project, from start to finish, ensuring completion on time and within budget
- Recommend products and services that align with clients' business needs
- Execute projects in accordance with the organization’s project management methodology and established plan
- Establish and maintain effective sales relationships with major accounts/customers
- Regularly answer branch phone calls, providing a high level of service to customers
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure integration into the project and on-time delivery of products meeting satisfactory standards
- Supervise progress and performance against the project plan; resolve operational problems and minimize delays
- Work directly with partners and clients to determine project scope, specifications, requirements, and perform calculations
- Conduct project meetings and prepare regular reports to communicate project status within and beyond the team
- Allocate resources and assign tasks to ensure project targets are met
- Provide assistance to program/project managers to ensure projects are carried out according to plan
Requirements
- Prior experience with construction industry products, including general construction, wastewater, or waterworks equipment, preferred
- 2+ years of Construction Project Management or Project Coordinator experience, preferred
- 2+ years of Waterworks experience preferred; applicants with industrial or commercial plumbing experience considered
- Familiarity with digital takeoff and estimating software such as PlanSwift or Bid Tracer highly preferred
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and ability to adapt to new technologies
- Salesforce experience preferred

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Pay
Pay Range: $22.50 - $48.65 per hour. This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible. Estimated ranges are hourly for this position. Starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
