Sales Porter

Martin Automotive Group is seeking a Sales Porter to join our team at our El Monte Nissan dealership. We provide an excellent working environment in a clean, safe, and temperature-controlled facility. Come be part of a team determined to be the best!

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous, and prompt transportation to customers while their vehicle is being serviced or repaired.
• Pick up and deliver packages, parts, or mail to the facility and run errands for the facility.
• Drive defensively and comply with all motor vehicle laws.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and recommend repairs/maintenance work to management.
• Ensure registration and license tag are current.
• Ensure all occupants wear seatbelts; child restraint seats must be used in accordance with local law.
• Pick up and deliver company-owned vehicles to dealerships and auctions, ensuring vehicles are delivered in the same condition they were received, along with necessary paperwork and keys to appropriate personnel.
• Obtain proper paperwork and keys from the selling party and return them to the General Manager.
• Ensure the Sign-off form is completed, maintain possession of the dealer plate, and return it to the General Manager.
• Turn in expense reports and receipts in a timely manner to the General Manager.
• Notify the General Manager about any incidents, including speeding tickets, light obstructions, drivability issues, or damage to the vehicle.
• Complete all training as directed by the supervisor.
• Follow policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Knowledgeable about the local area or town.
• Current valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Pay

$16.90+ per hour.
