About the role
The Sales Manager – Medical is responsible for leading and growing BEVCO’s Medical business, focusing on expanding revenue in electrical control panels, assemblies, and power distribution units.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead BEVCO’s key Medical accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for commercial and relationship management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers, influencers, and stakeholders within customer organizations to ensure long-term partnership and growth.
- Act as the quarterback for customer activity, ensuring alignment across quoting, order execution, production, and delivery.
- Identify and drive growth opportunities within existing accounts while protecting margin and overall account profitability.
- Provide leadership and direction to assigned team members, including Account Management and Technical support resources.
- Coach and develop team members to improve customer communication, coordination, and overall effectiveness.
- Partner closely with Engineering to support customer requirements, bring solutions forward, and ensure technical alignment.
- Influence Supply Chain, Planning, and Operations teams to meet customer expectations and resolve issues proactively.
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally, ensuring customers’ needs are clearly communicated and acted upon.
- Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and remove roadblocks to ensure successful customer outcomes.
- Drive accountability across internal teams without direct authority to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Develop and implement account strategies that align with BEVCO’s value proposition and drive long-term growth.
- Maintain high standards of responsiveness, accuracy, and follow-through to support a best-in-class customer experience.
- Utilize CRM and commercial reporting tools to manage customer activity, track performance, and support financial forecasting.
- Continuously improve processes and team effectiveness to support scalability and growth within the Medical segment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred
- 5–10+ years of experience in technical sales, account management, or engineering-related commercial roles
- Experience working with engineered products, electrical systems, or panel-based solutions preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow complex customer relationships
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to lead customer-facing discussions and collaborate with engineering teams
- Prowess in influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Proven ability to analyze, solve problems, and make decisions
