About the Role
As a Sales Lead (SL), you model great selling behaviors—you love selling our products and create an exceptional customer experience by sharing your knowledge with your team and customers. Your leadership supports achieving sales goals, operational excellence, and mentoring Customer Service Associates (CSAs) to develop their expertise. You ensure a vibrant, welcoming store environment and collaborate with the team to deliver consistent, friendly service that keeps customers returning.
Responsibilities
- Create memorable shopping experiences by providing consistent, friendly, and informed service.
- Maintain a neat, tidy, and inviting store through flawless visual merchandising and replenishment.
- Leverage key campaigns (e.g., new item launches, promotions, enterprise orders) to engage customers and drive sales.
- Mentor and develop employees by sharing product and operational knowledge.
- Ensure efficient store operations, including receiving, returns, and day-to-day processes, while managing shrink and expenses.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for operational improvements.
- Provide honest, respectful feedback to the store team.
- Drive sales and performance during assigned Manager on Duty (MOD) segments.
- Lead merchandising and replenishment efforts during MOD shifts.
- Open and close the store, ensuring employee and customer safety.
- Ensure compliance with company standards for safety, customer experience, and operations, including asset protection.
- Work on the selling floor, which involves prolonged standing, repetitive bending, lifting, and climbing.
Requirements
- Understand and deliver excellent customer service standards.
- Grow product and market knowledge, staying current with cultural trends.
- Solid operational knowledge to run the store effectively.
- Proven experience training and developing employees.
- Strong decision-making and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and delegate effectively.
