Responsibilities
- Business Development & Sales
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Develop relationships with manufacturers, brands, co-packers, and converters
- Generate new sales through cold calling, networking, referrals, and outbound outreach
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
- Flexible Packaging Solutions
- Sell stand-up pouches, lay-flat pouches, rollstock, custom films, and related packaging products
- Understand customer packaging requirements and recommend solutions
- Communicate product capabilities and manufacturing advantages
- Present customized packaging solutions to prospective customers
- Account Management
- Manage and grow newly acquired accounts
- Build long-term customer relationships
- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Identify opportunities for upselling and account expansion
- Strategic Growth
- Drive profitable revenue growth
- Understand pricing, margins, and business profitability
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful project execution
- Support company growth initiatives and market expansion efforts
- Travel & Client Engagement
- Travel approximately 30% of the time
- Conduct in-person customer meetings
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities
- Strengthen customer relationships through face-to-face interactions
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience
- Experience selling flexible packaging products
- Strong hunter mentality with proven new business generation success
- Existing relationships within packaging, food & beverage, CPG, cannabis, or manufacturing sectors
- Experience selling stand-up pouches, rollstock, custom films, or related products
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Able to manage a sales territory independently
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Willingness to travel approximately 30%
