Responsibilities

  1. Business Development & Sales
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
    • Develop relationships with manufacturers, brands, co-packers, and converters
    • Generate new sales through cold calling, networking, referrals, and outbound outreach
    • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
    • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
  2. Flexible Packaging Solutions
    • Sell stand-up pouches, lay-flat pouches, rollstock, custom films, and related packaging products
    • Understand customer packaging requirements and recommend solutions
    • Communicate product capabilities and manufacturing advantages
    • Present customized packaging solutions to prospective customers
  3. Account Management
    • Manage and grow newly acquired accounts
    • Build long-term customer relationships
    • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention
    • Identify opportunities for upselling and account expansion
  4. Strategic Growth
    • Drive profitable revenue growth
    • Understand pricing, margins, and business profitability
    • Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful project execution
    • Support company growth initiatives and market expansion efforts
  5. Travel & Client Engagement
    • Travel approximately 30% of the time
    • Conduct in-person customer meetings
    • Attend industry events and networking opportunities
    • Strengthen customer relationships through face-to-face interactions

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of B2B sales experience
    • Experience selling flexible packaging products
    • Strong hunter mentality with proven new business generation success
    • Existing relationships within packaging, food & beverage, CPG, cannabis, or manufacturing sectors
    • Experience selling stand-up pouches, rollstock, custom films, or related products
    • Strong negotiation and closing skills
    • Able to manage a sales territory independently
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
    • Willingness to travel approximately 30%
