POSITION SUMMARY

At Embraer, we provide state-of-the-art solutions globally. Our US Commercial and Defense entities are expanding rapidly. This Sales Executive will manage sales activities and campaigns for Embraer's military aircraft and programs in the US, Canada, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage local marketing activities for products and services with US government agencies or private firms doing government business. - Develop and recommend short- and long-term objectives to senior management. - Monitor defense acquisition activities across all US Armed Services branches. - Analyze defense acquisition trends and programs to identify potential sales opportunities. - Develop and lead procurement strategies, briefings, and formal proposal efforts to secure contracts. - Advise senior management on sales program statuses and actions. - Attend meetings with government officials and US prime contractors. - Maintain key marketing contacts with civilian and military personnel. - Develop and maintain customer relationships. - Support marketing and sales analysis studies and activities. - Prepare and manage target programs. - Manage department and area/program budgets. - Adhere to company and department norms, policies, directives, and procedures. - Ensure reliability and quality of information. - Maintain necessary internal and external contacts. - Propose process and procedure improvements. - Respect confidentiality and protect proprietary documents and information.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

- Education: Desirable BA degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or Economics. - Experience: >15 years of management experience in military aircraft sales, preferably in a large aviation/aeronautical industry. - Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the military acquisition process, military experience, experience with U.S. primes and OEMs. - Skills: Strategy Development, Team Leadership, Opportunity Management, Customer Engagement, New Business Capture, Decision Making, Advanced knowledge in defense aviation and mission systems, sales and marketing techniques, negotiation/presentation techniques. - Languages: Proficiency in English and Portuguese (desirable). - Other: Planning (Target Program process management), finance fundamentals (budget & analysis), employment law (sexual harassment, disability, discrimination, labor laws, etc.), business vision & competitiveness, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), ENS system, company policies and procedures, planning and analysis capabilities, business player, adaptable and resilient, self-controlled, responsible, organized self-starter, good communicator, assertive, helpful, and a team player. - Working Conditions: Safe professional environment, adherence to regulatory requirements, active secret security clearance or ability to reactivate, travel 51% - 75%, job location: Melbourne, FL, possibility to work from other Embraer sites, flexible and multi-talented, focuses on customer needs.
