About the role
Support the sales of high-tech automation and control products.
Work with branch personnel to identify opportunities for products to satisfy customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Specify products to meet customer requirements and needs
- Recommend inventory of automation products
- Inform sales staff and customers of new developments in automation and related products technology
- Provide technical services to customers for the operation and maintenance of automation equipment
- Provide technical support of automation and control products to customers and Company personnel and new product updates
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience required in progressively more responsible sales, marketing, and/or field experience
- 2 year degree required, Technical college or equivalent
- 6+ years experience preferred
Qualifications
- Knowledge of high-tech automation and control products
- Knowledge of engineering principles related to customer automation products
- Knowledge of suppliers' automation products
Skills
- Oral and written communication skills
- Interpersonal, organizational and team building skills
- Ability to work effectively with management and evaluate customer needs
- Ability to clearly present complex solutions to non-technical staff
- Ability to make oral and written presentations to internal and external contacts
Benefits
- Compensation details: The expected rate of pay for this position is $90,000.00 - $109,000.00 annually. Depending on experience.
- This role is also incentive-eligible, based on meeting specific and relative business metrics.
- The role requires the use of your personal vehicle for business purposes.
- Graybar offers a Fixed and Variable Rate (FAVR) reimbursement program to support eligible drivers.

$90,000.00 - $109,000.00 annually, depending on experience.
Schedule
