About the role

Support the sales of high-tech automation and control products.

Work with branch personnel to identify opportunities for products to satisfy customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Specify products to meet customer requirements and needs
  • Recommend inventory of automation products
  • Inform sales staff and customers of new developments in automation and related products technology
  • Provide technical services to customers for the operation and maintenance of automation equipment
  • Provide technical support of automation and control products to customers and Company personnel and new product updates

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience required in progressively more responsible sales, marketing, and/or field experience
  • 2 year degree required, Technical college or equivalent
  • 6+ years experience preferred

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of high-tech automation and control products
  • Knowledge of engineering principles related to customer automation products
  • Knowledge of suppliers' automation products

Skills

  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal, organizational and team building skills
  • Ability to work effectively with management and evaluate customer needs
  • Ability to clearly present complex solutions to non-technical staff
  • Ability to make oral and written presentations to internal and external contacts

Benefits

  • Compensation details: The expected rate of pay for this position is $90,000.00 - $109,000.00 annually. Depending on experience.
  • This role is also incentive-eligible, based on meeting specific and relative business metrics.
  • The role requires the use of your personal vehicle for business purposes.
  • Graybar offers a Fixed and Variable Rate (FAVR) reimbursement program to support eligible drivers.

Pay

$90,000.00 - $109,000.00 annually, depending on experience.

Schedule
