Sales Engineer, Data Centers

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Data Center Sales Engineer to drive profitable revenue growth in designated coverage areas. Industrial Services experience with Data Centers and Industrial water is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
• Work with Management to formulate, develop, and implement market strategies, penetration, and business goals.
• Leverage industry and company knowledge to propose, negotiate, and close profitable revenue opportunities while building long-term customer relationships.
• Analyze customer requirements and market drivers to deliver well-aligned products and services at optimal pricing.
• Maintain account ownership and designated revenue responsibility for assigned accounts.
• Document all sales calls, customer visits, and business opportunities.
• Assist with significant job scopes and customer appointments as necessary.
• Collaborate with local Sales, Operations, Facility Operations, and Vertical Sales to grow revenue.
• Promote communication and coordination between sales, operations, customer service, and customers.
• Manage and control sales expenses, ensuring timely submission of business expenses.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, with sales experience required.
• Experience selling to Data Centers and/or General Contractors preferred.
• Strong industry and company knowledge, including selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and accountability for completing job responsibilities.
• Ability to develop relationships within the customer network.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Ability to work remotely.
