Sales Engineer, Data Centers
About the Role
HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Data Center Sales Engineer to drive profitable revenue growth in designated coverage areas. This role prioritizes health and safety while leveraging industrial services experience, particularly in data centers and industrial water.

Responsibilities
- Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
- Collaborate with management to formulate, develop, and implement market strategies, penetration plans, and business goals.
- Leverage industry and company knowledge to propose, negotiate, and close profitable revenue opportunities while building long-term customer relationships.
- Analyze customer requirements and market drivers to deliver well-aligned products and services at optimal pricing.
- Maintain account ownership and revenue responsibility for assigned accounts.
- Document all sales calls, customer visits, and business opportunities, and maintain up-to-date company/contact information.
- Assist with significant job scopes and customer appointments as needed.
- Collaborate with local Sales, Operations, Facility Operations, and Vertical Sales teams to grow revenue.
- Promote communication and coordination between sales, operations, customer service, and customers.
- Manage and control sales expenses, ensuring timely submission of business expenses.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, with sales experience required.
- Experience selling to Data Centers and/or General Contractors is highly preferred.
- Strong industry and company knowledge, with expertise in selling, negotiation, and relationship building.
- Excellent communication skills and accountability for completing job responsibilities.
- Ability to develop relationships within customer networks.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
- Ability to work remotely.
