We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements (or Qualifications?), Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Use

for each heading. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. Do not repeat job title as heading. Do not put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings. Remove boilerplate, duplicated lines, application instructions, EEO, etc. Keep all substantive info. We need to parse the description. Sections present: - About The Role (we can call heading "About the role") - Responsibilities (multiple bullet-like paragraphs) - Sales Management Experience (maybe part of Requirements? Actually it's a sub-section under responsibilities? It's titled "Sales Management Experience". Could be part of Requirements or separate. But we need to decide which sections to include: we should include sections only if they have real specific content. The posting includes "Sales Management Experience" with bullet points. Could be part of "Requirements" or "Qualifications". Also there is "Required Qualifications" and "Preferred Qualifications". Also "What Success Looks Like". Also "Additional Information" includes salary range, benefits, location, hybrid. Also "Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion" and "Equal Opportunity" which are boilerplate to remove. We need to include sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements (maybe combine Required Qualifications and Sales Management Experience?), Skills (maybe from Required Qualifications?), Benefits, Pay, Schedule. But we must not create sections with filler like "commensurate with experience". We have actual content for Pay (salary range) and Benefits (medical, dental, vision, vacation, personal days, sick time, parental leave). Schedule: hybrid, regular in-office presence. So we can have Pay and Benefits and Schedule sections. We need to decide on headings exactly: "About the role", "Responsibilities", "Requirements", "Skills", "Benefits", "Pay", "Schedule". However we might combine Requirements and Skills? The instruction says use those headings if content exists. We have Required Qualifications (experience, track record, etc.) and Preferred Qualifications. Also we have Sales Management Experience (which is more like a requirement). Could treat Required Qualifications as Requirements section. Skills could be derived from Required Qualifications (presentation, communication, negotiation, relationship-management, etc.) but we could also put them under Requirements. However we need to follow instruction: Use headings only when posting has real specific content for it. If we put Skills heading but no specific skill list separate from qualifications, maybe better to omit Skills and put those under Requirements. But we have a list of skills in Required Qualifications: "Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills." Also "Strong business judgment", "Ability to manage multiple clients". Could be considered skills. But we could still have a Skills section with those items. However we need to avoid duplication. Probably better to have Requirements (including qualifications) and maybe Skills separate if we want. But we have enough content for Requirements (Required Qualifications). We could also have a Skills section for the explicit skills list. Let's see: The posting includes "Required Qualifications" bullet list of many items, some are experience, some are skills. Could split: Requirements = experience/qualifications; Skills = specific skills. But we need to avoid creating thin sections. However we have enough for both. Alternatively, we could combine Required Qualifications and Preferred Qualifications into Requirements, and then have Skills separate for the explicit skill list. But the instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So maybe better to have fewer sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements (including qualifications and skills), Benefits, Pay, Schedule. That's 6 sections. That seems reasonable. We need to output only HTML fragment, no /. Use

    for each heading. Use
    • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use

for prose. We need to preserve all substantive information, not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to include all points from About the role, Responsibilities, Required Qualifications, Preferred Qualifications, What Success Looks Like, Additional Information (salary, benefits, location, hybrid). Also maybe include Sales Management Experience as part of Responsibilities or Requirements? It's a separate heading but we can incorporate its content into Requirements (since it's about sales management experience). We'll include its bullet points under Requirements. We must remove boilerplate: Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Equal Opportunity, any duplicated lines, cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/scams, application instructions. Also remove "This is a full-time role with a salary range..." we keep that as Pay/Benefits. Also remove "New York Public Radio also offers comprehensive medical..." we keep as Benefits. Also remove "This role is based in New York City..." we keep as Schedule/Location maybe under Schedule? Actually schedule includes hybrid and regular in-office presence. Location could be part of Schedule or maybe we can include location in Schedule section. The instruction says include Schedule section only if posting actually states them. It does state hybrid capacity with regular in-office presence. So we can include Schedule. We also need to include Pay section: salary range $150,000 - $160,000 annually (plus full benefits package). Also mention base salary and eligibility to earn commission under commission plan. So we include that. Benefits: comprehensive medical, dental, vision insurance, vacation time, personal days, sick time, parental leave. We also need to include any other substantive info like "This role includes a base salary and eligibility to earn commission under the organization’s commission plan. Commission payments are calculated and paid in accordance with plan terms and applicable performance criteria." That's part of Pay. Now we need to format. We'll produce:

      About the role

New York Public Radio is seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales Director to join our Sponsorship team and drive revenue growth across NYPR’s portfolio of brands, programming, and platforms. Reporting to the VP of Sponsorship, the Sales Director will lead and manage a team of five sellers while maintaining a strong focus on revenue growth, new business development, and strategic client and agency relationships. The Sales Director will develop and grow relationships with advertisers and agency partners, identify new business opportunities, and create integrated sponsorship solutions that connect brands with NYPR’s audiences. This role will sell across NYPR’s sponsorship portfolio, including audio, digital, events, and custom content opportunities. The ideal candidate is a strategic and consultative seller who combines strong business development skills with excellent client relationship management and a deep understanding of the evolving media and advertising landscape. The Sales Director will work collaboratively across the organization to develop compelling solutions that meet advertiser objectives while supporting NYPR’s revenue goals.

      Responsibilities

      • Drive sponsorship revenue across NYPR’s portfolio through new business development, expansion of existing accounts, and strategic agency relationships.
      • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve individual and departmental revenue objectives.
      • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective advertisers and agency partners.
      • Identify new client categories, prospects, and market opportunities that can expand NYPR’s sponsorship business.
      • Develop strategic account plans for priority clients and agencies.
      • Maintain accurate forecasts and actively manage opportunities through all stages of the sales pipeline.

      • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers across brands, advertising agencies, media agencies, and other prospective partners.
      • Represent NYPR Sponsorship in the advertising marketplace and build awareness of NYPR’s value to advertisers.
      • Lead client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and strategic business discussions.
      • Develop a deep understanding of clients’ business and marketing objectives and translate those needs into relevant NYPR sponsorship opportunities.
      • Grow existing client and agency relationships while establishing new partnerships that generate sustainable, long-term revenue.
      • Deliver outstanding client service and responsiveness throughout the sales process.
      • Develop integrated sponsorship solutions utilizing NYPR’s audio, digital, event, and custom content opportunities.
      • Partner with the Sponsorship team to translate client objectives into compelling proposals, presentations, and customized programs.
      • Develop sponsorship packages that align NYPR’s capabilities and audiences with advertiser objectives.

      • Coordinate with Finance and other internal stakeholders on revenue forecasting, account management, and business planning, as appropriate.
      • Monitor aging reports with business analyst to make recommendations for collection efforts/account status.
      • Build productive partnerships with Content and other teams when developing sponsorship opportunities that require cross-functional collaboration.
      • Share client and marketplace insights to help inform sponsorship products, packaging, pricing, and new revenue opportunities.
Now Requirements section: combine Required Qualifications, Preferred Qualifications, Sales Management Experience, and maybe What Success Looks Like? Actually What Success Looks Like could be separate but we could incorporate into Requirements or maybe a separate section "Performance Expectations". But we have limited headings; we could add a section "What Success Looks Like" but that might be thin. However it contains substantive content: achieving objectives, growing new business, building pipeline, developing relationships, forecasting, closing high-value opportunities, collaborating across teams, increasing visibility. That's substantive. Could be its own section. But we already have many sections; we could add it as a separate section "What Success Looks Like". The instruction: Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. This section is substantive. So we could include it. Thus sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, What Success Looks Like, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to avoid duplication: Responsibilities already includes many duties; What Success Looks Like is more about outcomes. We'll keep both. Now Requirements: include Required Qualifications bullet points, Preferred Qualifications bullet points, Sales Management Experience bullet points. Also maybe include "Required Qualifications" heading inside? No, we just list items. We need to ensure we don't repeat content. Let's extract Required Qualifications list: - 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in advertising, media, sponsorship, or related sales, including significant experience managing complex client relationships. - Demonstrated sales management experience, including direct responsibility for leading, coaching, and developing a sales team. - Demonstrated track record of developing new business and growing revenue within a media or advertising environment. - Experience selling integrated media or sponsorship solutions across multiple platforms. - Strong relationships with, or demonstrated ability to develop relationships with, senior brand and agency decision-makers. - Strong understanding of the advertising and media marketplace. - Experience developing strategic, solution-oriented proposals based on advertiser business and marketing objectives. - Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex agreements and successfully move opportunities from prospecting through close. - Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and account-planning skills. - Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills. - Strong business judgment and the ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. - Ability to manage multiple clients, opportunities, and priorities simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience selling audio, podcast, digital media, branded content, events, or other cross-platform sponsorship products. - Experience working within premium media, news, publishing, audio, podcasting, or public media. - Familiarity with CRM and advertising sales systems. - Understanding of evolving digital and programmatic advertising models. - Experience using research, audience insights, and performance
