About the role

The Certified Color Consultant at Sally Beauty is responsible for maximizing sales and fostering customer loyalty through hair color consultations and selling skills. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 18 years of age or older, and 1+ year of retail sales/customer service experience. Key responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, managing inventory, and staying updated on industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Provide optimal customer experience to ensure successful hair color goals are met
• Elevate Sally Beauty as the leader in hair color
• Record all sales in the POS system and handle monetary transactions accurately
• Support the team in meeting or exceeding hair color sales goals
• Generate cross-category sales by introducing new categories
• Execute product knowledge from training to support customer service
• Explain product labels and provide professional advice
• Follow direction and perform other duties as assigned
• Present a professional image and interact positively with the public

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18 years of age or older
• 1+ year of retail sales/customer service experience preferred
• Clear, concise communication skills
• Availability to meet scheduling needs
• Ability to follow direction and perform additional duties
• Comprehensive knowledge of iPad and internet/social media platforms
• Ability to present a professional image and interact positively with the public

• Comprehensive knowledge of hair color products and services
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and interact positively with customers and colleagues
• Strong organizational and time management skills
