Sales Assistant

About the role

As a Sales Assistant, you will support the store management team, driving turnover and revenues based on lean principles. You will focus on delivering exceptional customer service and acting as an ambassador for the Ryman brand.

Responsibilities

• Act as an ambassador for Ryman and the wider Theo Paphitis Retail Group by demonstrating deep knowledge of the business and sharing it positively with customers
• Confidently and professionally handle customer complaints and difficulties, including returns, to ensure customer retention
• Achieve and strive to exceed KPIs and objectives set by the Store Management Team and the business
• Engage with customers enthusiastically, identify their needs, and assist them in purchasing by applying product knowledge while highlighting promotions and upselling
• Carry out stock replenishment and maintain accuracy of stock systems
• Promote high visual merchandising standards and ensure store housekeeping is consistently maintained
• Acquire and continuously develop a high level of product knowledge
• Recognize and act on opportunities to increase sales value by offering additional items
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Health and Safety policies
