Sales and Marketing - Estimator

About the role

The Estimator at Traffic Engineering Services (TES) provides accurate and knowledgeable information to customers through bidding on various projects utilizing multiple platforms and avenues. This individual will assess and communicate the customer's needs and determine the appropriate services through clear communication, timely quotes, and in-person interactions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current customer relations and grow new customer list.
• Make & receive calls, emails, and text messages to customers about all projects and scheduling.
• Provide accurate quotes and pricing based on TES cost structure.
• Work with the Dispatch team to get work scheduled and maintained.
• Create jobs & tickets.
• Research, maintain, and coordinate vendors to supply project/site materials.
• Follow up with customer's job and invoicing.
• Network events, Client Meetings (may require off hours).
• Answer phone calls, emails, outside of normal business hours.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Traffic Control (preferred), or the ability to learn various regional standards regarding traffic control.
• Strong computer skills.
• Sales experience.
• Mathematical skills and understanding cost structure.
• Managing and organizational skills.
• A High School Diploma.

Qualifications

• Physical Requirements: Stand and sit for long periods of time, travel to jobsites for inspection and compliance, sit to complete administrative tasks, bend or kneel occasionally, lift and/or carry at least 40 pounds unassisted, good hearing, sight, and voice.
