Sales and Account Retention Representative (Bilingual Spanish)
About the role
Engage directly with customers to resolve concerns, support account maintenance, and provide consultative solutions across Spectrum’s offerings.
Responsibilities
- Apply active listening and respectful communication to deliver outstanding customer service and consistently meet call-handling performance standards
- Present and explain Spectrum’s full portfolio, emphasizing Spectrum Mobile, to address customer needs and strengthen product value
- Demonstrate proficiency in positioning wireless plans, devices, features, and service options to support retention and re-sell opportunities
- Process transactions accurately within billing and order management systems, ensuring precise account updates and new sales order entries
- Identify opportunities to upsell products and services by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor pricing and products to effectively compare offerings and retain customers
Requirements
- Work in an office environment while managing multiple systems and applications during customer interactions and working flexible schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays as business needs require
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Skills: Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and Spanish; communicate clearly and professionally with a customer-focused approach; build rapport, overcome objections, and retain customers through solution-oriented conversations; work effectively in a fast-paced, metric-driven call center environment; learn and apply billing, account management, and order entry systems; understand sales practices, customer retention techniques, and service recovery methods
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of call center sales experience
- Skills: Working knowledge of Spectrum products and services, especially mobile offerings; knowledge of competitor wireless, internet, video and voice products and services; Bilingual Spanish Required
