Sales Account Manager- Construction

Responsibilities

• Possess the ability to prospect and cultivate new relationships at Control Systems Inc (CSI).
• Identify and educate prospective customers about CSI's industry-leading products and services.
• Collaborate with premier partners in vertical markets such as transportation, global/enterprise accounts, utilities, financial/banking, healthcare, datacenters, federal/state/local governments, and K-12 & higher education.
• Conduct needs assessments and write compelling proposals for system installation and service opportunities.
• Build market awareness for Control Systems Inc (CSI) through networking, presentations, event attendance, and industry associations.
• Partner with CSI's operations team to execute growth, development, sales, and marketing strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the fire life safety, electronics, general construction, or electrical construction industry.
• Ability to quickly identify and qualify opportunities at Control Systems Inc (CSI).
• High degree of self-discipline and ability to prioritize/meet deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Excellent communication skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.
• Experience working with electrical contractors, general contractors, consultants, engineers or end users, with ability to read construction blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, success-driven, with strong organizational and negotiating skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Must meet background and driving record requirements.
