Job Summary
Join a Growing Team in the Multifamily Industry! We're seeking a driven Sales Account Manager to build strong relationships with apartment communities and property management companies. This role is responsible for driving sales growth by developing new business opportunities and managing existing customer relationships across a variety of interior renovation and improvement projects.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with property managers, apartment communities, ownership groups, and multifamily decision-makers to drive new and repeat business.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new sales opportunities within assigned territories and target accounts.
- Conduct site visits, assess project needs, gather measurements, and develop accurate project scopes.
- Prepare and deliver timely, competitive bids using company tools and systems.
- Manage customer accounts throughout the sales cycle, including contract execution, project coordination, and account follow-up.
- Collaborate with operations, project management, and installation teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade associations, and networking opportunities to generate leads and strengthen brand awareness.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, bids, contracts, and sales activity within company systems.
- Support account collections and resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through proactive communication and follow-through.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Required Qualifications: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Minimum of 1 year of outside sales experience. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally within the assigned territory.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in multifamily housing, property management, construction, renovation, flooring, cabinetry, countertops, or related industries. Experience preparing project estimates, bids, or proposals. Familiarity with Measure Square or similar estimating tools. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
