Sales Account Manager

Job Summary

Develop and implement strategies to maintain and/or expand sales and promote Estes transportation services within an assigned territory. Provide reports on sales activities, utilize CRM tools to build customer base, enhance product services and customer relationships. Interface with customers to understand their objectives and requirements, contact customers regularly to maintain account relationships, advise on new product and service offerings, expedite customer concerns, prepare and conduct service presentations, contribute to quarterly/annual business forecasting, and meet and exceed sales goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Three years of sales experience, preferably in LTL/transportation
  • Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • Strong work ethic, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR
  • Prior CRM experience preferred; SalesForce CRM experience highly preferred
  • Ability to work all shifts and in various areas as needed
  • Capable of lifting up to 20 lbs. and working under tight time constraints
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and undergo a criminal history background check

Physical Demands

The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, use close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjust focus. The employee is frequently required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, lift, twist, turn, and reach. Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 20 lbs., or more if required by the essential functions of the job. Work environment ranges from quiet to loud, with noise levels ranging from quiet to loud as required by the essential functions of the job.
