Values Advocacy Accessibility Intersectionality Sex & Body Positivity Stewardship Transparency Position Summary The Wellness Programs Manager provides leadership, supervision, and program management for the Seattle LGBTQ+ Center’s Mental Health and Harm Reduction programs. Working collaboratively with the Director of Health Services, this position helps develop and implement departmental goals and ensures high-quality service delivery. Responsibilities include staff supervision, program evaluation, budget monitoring, compliance oversight, reporting, and case consultation. The Wellness Programs Manager plays a key role in fostering an affirming, community-centered environment that supports both staff and clients. Roles and Responsibilities Team Leadership and Supervision Foster a positive, affirming, and community-centered work environment.Provide guidance and support related to case management, support group facilitation, care coordination, and referrals. Page 2 of 4 Coordinate meetings among Wellness Programs team members, including healthcare navigators, interns, program coordinators, and departmental leadership. Identify and coordinate training and professional development opportunities for staff.Hold regular one-on-one meetings with staff to support professional development, goal setting, and performance growth. Conduct annual performance evaluations for direct reports.Coordinate staff schedules, including vacation, leave, and PTO requests.Regularly serve as Manager on Duty according to agency policies and procedures.Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support for staff and clients as needed.Partner with the Director of Health Services to recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new team members. Program Management and Operations Support the team in implementing programs and achieving goals in alignment with grants, contracts, and the organizational strategic plan. Monitor and evaluate program performance to ensure compliance with grant and contract requirements and alignment with organizational strategic goals. Collaborate with the Data Team to ensure accurate, timely reporting.Maintain and manage Mental Health program records within the electronic health record (EHR) system. Conduct ongoing assessment of program effectiveness to ensure client needs, agency standards, and funding requirements are met. Oversee internship program logistics to ensure compliance with university and placement requirements, as applicable. Coordinate intern schedules and project development in collaboration with the licensed supervisor. Determine programmatic goals and objectives in collaboration with program staff based on community needs. Partner with the Director of Health Services to facilitate regular departmental meetings.Ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and organizational standards, including HIPAA and OSHA. Support budget monitoring and resource management for assigned programs.Partner with the Director of Health Services to develop the annual program budget. Note: All clinical supervision of interns and associates is provided by a licensed supervisor. Software and Systems The Health Services Manager Regularly Utilizes Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms, Chat)Acuity Scheduling Page 3 of 4 InSync Healthcare Solutions (Electronic Health Record)Provide® Enterprise Required Qualifications Minimum of three years of supervisory, management, or program management experience.Master's degree and clinical experience in healthcare administration, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience. Experience with case management, motivational interviewing, goal setting, treatment planning, and care coordination. Experience with harm reduction frameworks and best practices.Demonstrated commitment to Seattle’s LGBTQ+ Center’s mission, values, and community- centered approach.Experience working with transgender and gender nonconforming (T/GNC), lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer (LGBQ), and youth communities. Strong understanding of issues impacting LGBTQIA+ communities and demonstrated ability to apply an intersectional framework, particularly regarding race, ethnicity, class, gender, age, and disability. Demonstrated ability to serve diverse LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities with cultural humility, including respectful use of pronouns and attention to accessibility needs. Knowledge of healthcare administration, program operations, budgeting, and inventory management. Experience with HIV prevention and care services, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), PrEP, and 340B programs.
