General Manager - $70,000 salary

About the role

Cantina Loca is looking for a General Manager to work at our Sugar Hill location. We offer a salaried position, medical, dental, vision and life insurances. Starting pay up to $70,000 with the correct experience.

Responsibilities

• Controls day to day operations by scheduling, ordering, and developing the restaurant team members.
• Controls profit & loss, by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate action.
• Recruits, interviews and hires team members, conducts performance appraisals, takes disciplinary action as needed, motivates and trains.
• Ensures that the Occupational Safety and Health Act, local health safety codes, as well as the company safety and security policies are being adhered to.
• Ensures that the restaurant is in compliance with the preventative maintenance program with regards to facility, equipment, and grounds maintenance.
• Ensures a safe working and customer experience environment by facilitating safe work behaviors of the team.
• Maintains fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensures products are consistent with company quality standards.
• Ensures food quality and 100% customer satisfaction.
• Ensures complete and timely execution of corporate and local marketing programs.
• Maintain food quality with sense of urgency towards check times.
• Strong communication skills.
• Help prepare and create weekly specials.
• Able to work 8-10 hour plus shifts, ability to stand, or walk for extended periods of time.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Able to Write a Weekly Work Schedule.
• Able to work with Excel spread sheets for inventory and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in full service restaurants.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Strong leadership qualities is a must, ability to lead by example, and stay upbeat and positive under pressure.
