Safety & Security Associate

Duties and Responsibilities

• Stand and greet each car approaching the gatehouse.
• Check each pass holder's car and ensure all guests have their own pass.
• Confirm that guests of pass holders have appropriate guest passes.
• Be polite and informative while speaking with pass holders and guests.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Notify the office for all club deliveries and guest tours and direct to appropriate area.
• Hand out flyers given by management to all vehicles.
• Maintain guest log and POS register as required by the post.
• Ensure the safety of the property by never leaving the gatehouse unattended.
• Notify the front office in case of emergency and escort emergency vehicles to emergency site.
• Enforce rules of the club at all times; lock down gatehouse at designated time.
• Investigate & prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities in a timely manner.
• Be professional by wearing the proper uniform and maintaining appearance.
• Understand company’s ISO management systems, policies, goals, and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned and as identified on the duties checklist.

Position Requirements

• Superior customer service skills, strong communication skills, and a team player.
• Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts.
• Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Significant time spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, in close proximity to other people.
• Able to fulfill the physical demands of the job including the ability to be outdoors and on your feet for 8 hours a day.

Knowledge and Experience

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Six (6) months in a hotel/resort setting preferred.
• Resort/National Park Concession experience preferred.
