Safety & Compliance Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Aid in the implementation and maintenance of safety programs aligned with OSHA standards
• Support on-site safety inspections and encourage adherence to safe work practices
• Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings with field teams
• Maintain safety documentation, logs, and compliance records, including OSHA reporting support
• Assist in reviewing subcontractor safety plans and ensuring they align with company standards
• Contribute to incident and near-miss investigations, documenting findings and follow-up actions
• Help conduct job hazard analyses and risk assessments
• Coordinate safety training sessions, drills, and emergency preparedness activities
• Address employee safety concerns and escalate issues as necessary
• Promote a positive and proactive safety culture across all departments
• Ensure that tools and equipment are safe and compliant for use

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in a safety-related role (construction, industrial, or similar environment)
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations
• CHST certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and alongside field teams
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health, or related field preferred
