Safety Advisor - Owner Rep

Overview

The SMG Advisor will provide leadership, insight, and recommendations for improvement from an HSE perspective. Help drive initiatives, take ownership, and set target dates for program enhancements. Manage the HSE roadmap, which outlines program initiatives, ownership, start dates, and more.

Requirements

• 5+ years of HSE/EHS experience
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, HSE management systems, risk assessment, and incident investigation
• Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, or industrial operations
• Experience developing HSE roadmaps and strategic plans, managing HSE initiatives and timelines, conducting audits and compliance reviews
• Degree in Safety or related fields
• Experience working directly with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and leading HSE programs

Physical Demands

• Moving about long distances
• Ascending/Descending stairs and ladders
• Remaining in a stationary position for a prolonged period
• Working in extreme weather
• Exposure to loud noises
• Wearing personal protective gear correctly
