Owner’s Rep Construction Safety Manager

About the role

The Safety Manager at Anova, a division of Shiel Sexton, oversees safety on complex construction projects. They monitor contractor performance, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with OSHA and project-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine site safety observations and audits
• Support incident, accident, and near-miss investigations
• Maintain compliance with OSHA and project safety standards
• Collaborate with contractors and project teams to resolve safety issues
• Track and report safety performance metrics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of construction safety or field safety management experience
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards
• Experience conducting site inspections, audits, and incident investigations
• Effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety reporting tools
• Relevant certifications (OSHA 30, CSP, NEBOSH or equivalent) preferred
