We are seeking an experienced RPA Developer (Intelligent Automation) to join our growing Digital Transformation team.

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering automation solutions that streamline processes and improve accuracy. You will work closely with stakeholders across People, Finance, Operations, Commercial, and Support functions to identify opportunities, design innovative solutions, and deliver automation that creates real business value.

This is a fixed-term 12-month contract based at our Nursery Support Centre in Denton, with a hybrid working arrangement.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy intelligent automation solutions.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable automation solutions.
  • Build and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and support materials.
  • Monitor and support live automations, troubleshooting issues and implementing effective fixes.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying new opportunities to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
  • Explore innovative technologies including AI-driven automation, workflow automation, and document understanding solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the UK and with Partou's Intelligent Automation Centre of Excellence in the Netherlands.
  • Ensure all solutions meet governance, security, and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Experience developing solutions using enterprise RPA platforms.
  • A proven track record of delivering automation projects from discovery through to deployment and support.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience translating technical concepts into clear, understandable language.
  • Strong solution design and technical documentation capabilities.
  • Knowledge of process improvement and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI-enabled automation technologies.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate.
  • Experience integrating systems via APIs.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Experience within childcare, education, retail, or other multi-site organisations.
  • Dutch or German language skills.

Pay

£45,000 per annum.
