Intelligent Automation Engineer - RPA Automation
Job Summary
We are seeking an Intelligent Automation Engineer to support enterprise automation initiatives with a focus on Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), and system integrations.
About the Role
This role designs, builds, and integrates automation solutions using established RPA platforms while enabling advanced capabilities through Azure AI and/or Google Vertex AI where appropriate. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, automation developers, and AI platform teams to deliver scalable, secure, and well-integrated solutions.
Essential Functions
- Develop, configure, test, and deploy automation solutions that align with business needs.
- Provide support, root cause analysis, and debugging to meet SLAs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and integrate solutions with existing systems.
- Communicate with diverse audiences and support automation portfolios.
- Ensure compliance with standards, security, and change management.
- Partner with teammates to develop, configure, test, and implement processes to meet the defined and anticipated requirements with high-quality builds on time and on budget.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings to accomplish objectives or resolve issues.
- Participate in Agile teams to deliver iterative improvements and manage change effectively.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (required)
- Handson experience with Automation Anywhere (A360) RPA platform
- Experience with process simulations/automation, solution development and/or business analysis
- Familiarity with Intelligent Document Processing tools such as ABBYY or equivalent OCR/IDP technologies
- Understanding system integration concepts, including REST APIs, JSON/XML, authentication, and error handling
- Working knowledge of process engineering software systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating with Azure AI services and/or Google Vertex AI (preferred)
- Experience or knowledge in a banking/financial services industry (preferred)

- Support multiple projects, tasks, and responsibilities concurrently
- Design and implement automation solutions using platforms like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate
- Staying current with emerging technologies and continuously improving solution design
