Responsibilities
- Cleanliness: Clean and ensure necessary amenities and supplies are in guest rooms. Maintain cleanliness of carts, linens, rooms, and equipment.
- Guest Service: Ensure guest satisfaction through high-quality housekeeping service. Respond to guest requests positively and promptly while working as a team player to meet guest and department needs. Follow Holiday Inn’s guest service recovery program.
- Safety/Risk Management: Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with Holiday Inn’s, brand, local, state, and federal regulations. Inspect rooms for maintenance needs and report issues. Use chemicals safely and follow all procedures for guest and team member incidents. Know hotel emergency procedures.
- Self-Management: Plan, organize, and prioritize work duties to meet required volume. Adhere to attendance policies, grooming and appearance standards, and general work rules. Attend required meetings and ensure proper use of equipment and supplies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Hotel housekeeping or laundry experience preferred.
- Attention to detail and customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to perform job duties in a repetitious and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
- Significant bending required.
Pay
$17.25 - $19 an hour. The actual base pay offered is determined by qualifications, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, or professional licenses.
