Housekeeper Supervisor - Full Time - Crowne Plaza Crystal City ($19.50/hr)

About the role

The Housekeeper Supervisor is responsible for overseeing housekeeping staff at the Crowne Plaza Crystal City hotel. This position reports directly to the Director of Housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
• Oversee daily cleaning schedules and ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
• Resolve conflicts among housekeeping staff and resolve customer complaints regarding housekeeping services.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are stocked and maintained.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to address any issues related to guest rooms and common areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure compliance with hotel standards.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and housekeeping standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with hotel management systems.
