About the role

The Rollins Center Director of Communications is responsible for all marketing, communications, and public relations of the Rollins Center and our free, online Cox Campus. The Director will be an effective and relentless spokesperson for our vision of literacy and justice for all, and will communicate precisely and passionately to a wide range of audiences. This position requires the ability to think and plan strategically while managing daily operations. Collaboration with educators, civic and business leaders, philanthropic partners, community partners, and other stakeholders is essential, as is the ability to work independently on major projects. As a valued member of the Rollins Leadership Team, the Director of Marketing and Communications role offers ongoing responsibilities and opportunities to promote the mission and communicate its impact to educators, advocates, families, and children across our city, state, and nationally and internationally. Meeting our mission creates countless new possibilities for children and adults. Language and literacy proficiency changes the course of children's lives and transforms their futures. We are seeking someone to help expand our reach and deepen national understanding of the powerful impact of this work. This person will help us change children's potential into reality.
