Robotics Jobs Curitiba (Remote) Rex.zone is hiring for a remote, full-time robotics software engineering role focused on production-grade autonomy. You will connect perception, planning, and control to real-world deployment with strong testing and reliability practices. About The Role You will build and improve robotics capabilities across autonomy, perception, planning, and control for production and pilot deployments. Work includes ROS/ROS2 integration, simulation-based development (Gazebo/Isaac Sim), SLAM/localization tuning, sensor fusion (LiDAR/IMU/cameras), and motion planning for mobile robots or manipulators. Key Responsibilities Deliver robotics software features end to end, from requirements and architecture to testing and releaseImplement ROS2 packages, message definitions, and launch systems aligned with deployment constraintsDesign and tune control loops and state estimation (EKF/UKF) for stable motionImprove perception pipelines with computer vision and sensor fusion for reliable obstacle detection and trackingBuild simulation scenarios and evaluation metrics for sim-to-real transfer and regression testingInvestigate field issues via logs/rosbags, reproduce defects, and ship validated fixesMaintain documentation, coding standards, and code review quality for long-term maintainability Required Qualifications Mid-Senior experience in robotics software engineering or autonomyStrong C++ and Python skills in Linux environmentsHands-on ROS/ROS2 development (e.g., tf2, navigation stacks, lifecycle nodes, real-time considerations)Robotics fundamentals: kinematics, dynamics, control theory, and planningExperience with SLAM/localization, calibration, and data-driven debugging using logs/rosbagsAbility to design tests and quality gates that prevent regressions in robot behavior Preferred Qualifications MoveIt/manipulation, Nav2, Behavior Trees, or custom plannersSimulation frameworks (Gazebo, Isaac Sim), domain randomization, and sim-to-real workflowsPerception stacks using OpenCV, point clouds, and inference optimizationSafety, reliability engineering, and fault handling in roboticsCI/CD for robotics and containerized deployments Compensation Competitive hourly base pay: $30–$50/hr (USD), based on skills and interview performance. How To Apply Apply through Rex.zone and include evidence of robotics projects (ROS2 packages, simulation results, deployment metrics, and debugging examples).
