Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Robotics Evaluation Specialist to work on a contract basis. The role involves evaluating the performance and reliability of robotic systems across various applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test protocols for robotic hardware and software to assess performance metrics such as precision, speed, and efficiency.
- Document and report findings from evaluation tests, including anomalies, failures, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to refine robotic systems based on evaluation feedback.
- Maintain detailed records of test results and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
- Recommend modifications or enhancements to robotic systems to optimize functionality and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in robotics testing or evaluation, including hands-on work with robotic hardware and software.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies to interpret test results.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or C++ for scripting and automation.
- Understanding of robotic kinematics, control systems, and sensor integration.
- Familiarity with industry standards for robotics safety and performance testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings and recommendations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
