Type: Contract • Compensation: $80 - $100/hour • Location: Remote • Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Responsibilities
- Analyze and deliver practical robotics or mechatronics tasks using advanced AI coding agents.
- Design, implement, and document solutions to challenging technical scenarios in robotics and mechatronics.
- Demonstrate the application of AI agents in complex engineering problems, including debugging advanced issues.
- Produce detailed feedback on AI agent performance and usability, focusing on code generation workflows.
- Contribute real-world examples of using AI coding tools for feature development and problem-solving.
- Collaborate remotely with project leads to leverage AI agents for technical acceleration in projects.
Requirements
- Have strong relevant experience in robotics, mechatronics, or STEM technical projects.
- Proficiency in using Codex, Claude Science, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork agents for engineering applications.
- Experience applying AI coding agents to solve complex challenges beyond simple code generation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear documentation.
- Experience with large codebases, end-to-end feature implementation, or major architectural shifts.
- Familiarity with collaborative, remote project environments and a proactive approach to sharing expertise.
