Roadway Engineer - Entry Level

About the role

We are currently seeking an Entry Level Engineer to join our Highway/Roadway team in our Raleigh, NC office. This is your chance to help design the infrastructure and buildings that improve the world.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning and design of transportation-related projects
• Support senior engineers in a variety of roadway design tasks
• Perform roadway design and field investigations
• Prepare construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Develop technical reports

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• 0-4 years of relevant experience
• Prior internship or relevant work experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing at all organizational levels
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle multiple assignments
• Experience with design software tools such as MicroStation preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position is $70,000.00 - $125,000.00. The specific compensation offered may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and experience.
