RN Triage - Pulmonary

Role Overview

The Triage Nurse is responsible for assessing patient needs via inbound and outbound calls, providing clinical assessment, education, and problem-solving.

Duties

• Conduct phone triage
• Manage patient needs
• Facilitate testing and referrals
• Maintain exam room readiness

Qualifications & Skills

• Current Illinois RN licensure and CPR certification (AHA)
• Office RN and BSN preferred
• Ability to handle high-stress situations and communicate effectively in English
• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, lift up to 40 lbs., and push/pull up to 20 lbs.
• Strong customer relationship skills and clinical assessment abilities
