Registered Nurse Triage (RN) specializing in Pulmonary care, responsible for assessing patient needs via telephone, providing education, managing immediate and ongoing care, and handling tasks such as testing, insurance pre-authorization, and referrals.

Responsibilities

• Conducting phone triage and clinical assessments
• Providing patient education and support
• Managing testing, referrals, and insurance authorizations
• Maintaining exam rooms and supporting clinical operations

Qualifications and skills

• Current Illinois RN licensure and CPR certification (AHA)
• Office RN experience and BSN preferred
• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to handle high-stress situations and perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing
• Self-motivated with advanced problem-solving abilities
