RN Triage - Endocrinology

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inbound and outbound telephone-based patient triage under supervision
• Assess caller needs through active listening, clinical evaluation, and problem-solving
• Manage patient needs with acute and preventative interventions
• Perform phone triage, patient education, and Continuous Glucose Monitor procedures
• Handle insurance pre-authorizations, referrals, and maintain exam rooms

Qualifications & Skills

• Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification
• Office RN and BSN preferred
• Ability to handle high-stress situations and communicate effectively in English
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and carry up to 40 lbs
