RN Triage - Endocrinology

About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient care via inbound and outbound phone triage, assessing caller needs, delivering education, and managing immediate and ongoing patient requirements in Endocrinology.

Responsibilities

• Perform phone triage to assess patient needs
• Provide patient education and support
• Place and manage Continuous Glucose Monitors
• Conduct testing and assist with insurance pre-authorization
• Coordinate referrals and maintain exam rooms
• Offer clinical assessment, problem-solving, and ensure quality care and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Current Illinois RN license
• CPR certification
• Office RN experience and BSN preferred
• Ability to handle high-stress situations
• Capability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
• Lift up to 40 lbs
• Effective communication in English
