About the role
This role supports the Trauma Program by managing the Trauma Performance Improvement and Patient Safety (PIPS) Program in accordance with accreditation standards.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with clinical teams and leadership to evaluate trauma care, review cases, identify events, and ensure proper documentation.
- Analyzes trauma data, detects trends, and participates in corrective actions to improve patient outcomes and maintain trauma center accreditation.
Requirements
- A Pennsylvania-licensed Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, at least 3 years of clinical experience in Emergency, Trauma, or Critical Care, and preferably experience in quality improvement.
- Strong project management, data analysis, communication skills, and proficiency in computer systems.
- Experience with performance improvement methodologies is a plus.
