About the role
The Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator supports the trauma program by managing the Trauma Performance Improvement and Patient Safety (PIPS) program.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clinical teams and leadership to evaluate trauma care, review cases, identify events, and ensure proper documentation.
- Analyze trauma data, recognize trends, participate in corrective actions, and drive system improvements to enhance patient outcomes and maintain accreditation.
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- At least 3 years of clinical experience in emergency, trauma, or critical care.
- Experience in quality improvement preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and computer skills.
- Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies.
Skills
- Understanding of patient developmental stages across all ages.
