RN - Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator

About the role

The Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator supports the trauma program by managing the Trauma Performance Improvement and Patient Safety (PIPS) program.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinical teams and leadership to evaluate trauma care, review cases, identify events, and ensure proper documentation.
• Analyze trauma data, recognize trends, participate in corrective actions, and drive system improvements to enhance patient outcomes and maintain accreditation.

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in emergency, trauma, or critical care.
• Experience in quality improvement preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies.

Skills

• Understanding of patient developmental stages across all ages.
