RN Supervisor (Home Care) – Part Time (10 Hrs/Wk)

About the role

CareGivers is seeking an RN Supervisor to join their team in the Schenectady NY area. This position offers flexible part-time hours with a minimum of 10 hours per week, potentially up to 14 hours per week, primarily during weekdays. The role involves traveling to client homes within the service area (Schenectady & Albany Counties, possibly including Saratoga County), with a base office in Schenectady NY. The position is ideal for both retired RNs looking to continue making a difference and RNs seeking additional hours or flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clients receive high-quality care through ongoing assessments and implementation of the physician’s plan of treatment.
• Develop and evaluate client care plans and employee performance.
• Supervise staff in client homes, providing on-the-job training.
• Conduct client assessments and perform necessary medical tasks such as medication setups.
• Assist with insurance assessments as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in New York State with at least one year of RN experience (preferred recent experience).
• At least six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of home health regulations preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and flexible scheduling abilities.
• Must meet health requirements and have a reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license.
